EUR07: Rule Britannia
Cheerio, pip pip wot!
Here I am, in my hostel in London, after spending a good 2 hours walking in the wrong direction trying to find it. Who knew Victoria Coach station wasn’t the same thing as Victoria Rail station? Not I, clearly.
Edinburgh was awesome; I checked out the Castle and walked down the Royal Mile, and once at the bottom (in front of the Scottish Parliament), I noticed Arthur’s Seat rising above. Managed to stumble my way up, check out the killer view, and not break my neck on the way down.
Beer in Scotland seems to generally be very hoppy, which is fine by me.
Spent all day today on a coach from Edinburgh to London, then the aforementioned 2 hours wandering the city. I found Belgrave Square, and Upper and Lower Belgrave Streets in the opposite direction from Victoria Station from where I was actually heading, Belgrave Road. Oh England, you kill me.
Morale is high.
Cheers.
